12-inch EP. Side A is a 20-minute song, "When Do We Get Paid (in Full)," which somehow is so long that we couldn't even upload it to Bandcamp for you to hear it. But it’s on the disc so you are getting full value for your music purchasing dollar (or euro, or whatever). You’re welcome.
If you're ordering from Europe or the UK: Orders will begin shipping out toward the end of February because of some supply chain trouble.

This limited EP from the Staples Jr. Singers was recently featured in an important exhibition at the gallery GRAY (Chicago/New York).
The show, Citing Black Geographies, brought together artists examining notions of “Black space”—the topographies that portend to Black cultural experience. The music of the Staples Jr. Singers played around the clock in the gallery, alongside the work of Theaster Gates, Carrie Mae Weems, and many others.
This was recorded in January 2022 in West Point, MS, when Edward, R.C., and Annie of the original Staples Jr. Singers gathered with a few younger family members at a house of worship to perform some of their early songs—including from 1975’s When Do We Get Paid—for the first time in 50 years.
With GRAY, the Staples Jr. Singers made a 12-inch EP out of that performance—and now we’ve made a limited version, too, because this music is too significant in the history of this family not to share it with you.
We’re calling it Tell Heaven. If you have a chance, we hope you’ll listen to it.

We're a family band, born and raised in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Been on the road since 1969 (four generations and counting!). Back when we got our start, in 1975, we had one question on our minds: When Do We Get Paid?
Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous. I have loved this record since its release, and realized I don't own it for some reason. So its time to change that. 9.5/10 honestly could become a 10/10 on an indepth vinyl relisten. angrypizza98
Pharoah's long forgotten masterpiece. This record could have been lost, but it just got resurrected, and seriously, this is probably one of Sanders top 2 or 3 albums. Those who discovered Pharoah with Promises, might prefer this to Karma. The first track, Harvest Time is a gem and both live takes on this double CD are compelling variations of the studio version, maybe even more exciting! Alex Deschênes
This could’ve been my album of the year if I’d noticed it. Hell.
2020, feeling like shit and then this musical balm appears. Live recording on one mic. Just bass and harp. Awesome. It swings like a pendulum do!
Big shout out for Dezron’s love of coffee. I now have 2 of his albums and he’s proselytising on behalf of coffee on both. Damn right ☕️ Crinklechips
Another fantastic cosmic voyage from the Hungarian fusion band, with cornerstones of disco, jazz-funk, psychedelia, and soul. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 14, 2024
